The Positively Global Project set out to help teachers who have a link with a school in the South.
The teaching materials that have been produced address issues around Globalisation and challenge students in both UK and partner schools to look at their pre-conceptions and to find out more about the way globalisation is shaping their world.
These user friendly materials seek to develop skills found across the curriculum:
• Developing skills of enquiry and communication
• Analysing and evaluating data
• Looking at peoples values and attitudes and examining their own
• Developing skills of participation and responsible action
Geography, Citizenship, English IT and Modern Foreign Languages teachers have all used these materials.
